I'm using it for a post base. I thought I would have to add legs but it is so sturdy I haven't need to. Strong winds have NOT blown it over. Easy to move around and if I need to put on grass, I will stake it using the pre-drilled holes. I was tired of the flimsy post bases blowing over with the slightest breeze. This works perfectly....will order 3 more after the holidays
